Course Description

Synopsis:

The VUCA world is characterised by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. It has changed the way businesses formulate their strategy. Companies must have a balanced mix of data analysis and managerial experience for effective strategy making. Strategic Analysis is a process of studying internal and external factors that affect a business's growth and help to improve decision-making, enhance competitiveness, increase adaptability, and improve stakeholder relations. This course will introduce several tools and techniques for Strategic Analysis, such as SWOT analysis, Porter's Five Forces, and Benchmarking. By using them, businesses can make informed decisions and respond to opportunities and challenges.

  • Understand the process and benefits of benchmarking as a strategic business analysis technique to compare an organisation's performance to competitors or industry best practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop plans to enhance competitiveness
