Synopsis:
This module presents the highlights of the ISCA Web-Bitez Learning Series on "Supply Chain Resilience and the Implications to Businesses".
Supply chain resilience refers to the ability of a business to withstand and quickly recover from disruptions in its supply chain. The COVID-19 pandemic has laid bare the importance and complexity of global supply chains. Restrictions on the movement of people and goods as well as stoppages to production and logistic flows have severely disrupted global supply chains, including essential supplies such as pharmaceuticals, masks, and even food supplies in certain areas.
This module covers the importance of supply chain resilience in businesses and outlines some of the various strategies organisations undertake to build resilience in their supply chains.
