Sustainability & Emerging Assurance Partner

Josette is a Deloitte Sustainability & Climate Advisory & Assurance Partner based in Singapore, leading the ESG Assurance practice with 16+ years of professional service experience. She is a trusted advisor at the intersection of sustainability and finance. Her team offers diverse services including narrative reporting, climate reporting, and ISAE 3000 assurance.Josette brings more than 16 years of experience in delivering professional services to both local and multinational companies across Southeast Asia and the global landscape. In her current role, she leads the Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) assurance team, which plays a pivotal role in providing an array of services to clients. These services encompass advisory solutions covering narrative reporting, TCFD and climate reporting, integrated reporting, and sustainability reporting. In addition to this, her team is actively engaged in providing assurance in accordance with ISAE 3000, a globally recognised standard. This involves a meticulous evaluation of the effectiveness, design, and implementation of controls pertaining to both financial and non-financial data.Josette's expertise extends beyond her role as an accomplished corporate trainer. With over 9 years of experience, she has effectively imparted training to both internal Deloitte professionals and external corporate clients. Her leadership extends to Learning Solutions by Deloitte (DLS), the training arm of Deloitte, where she orchestrates impactful learning experiences.Josette's expertise as a corporate trainer has significantly influenced sustainability and accounting training initiatives, reaching a diverse array of stakeholders. Her scope encompasses Singapore-listed corporations, multinational entities, and government-linked firms. Her notable contributions extend to Deloitte Singapore's IFRS Centre of Excellence, where she specialises in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Her professional affiliations include membership in various esteemed bodies, such as ISCA (CA Singapore), Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and Associate Adult Educator (AAE) as part of the Adult Education Professionalisation program by Institute for Adult Learning Singapore (IAL).

Christopher Au

Director, Asia-Pacific Climate Risk Centre, WTW

Christopher is the Director of WTW’s Asia-Pacific Climate Risk Centre, which focuses on climate risk quantification and management. Based in Singapore, the Centre works with support corporates, financial institutions, insurers, and governments to understand, quantify and build resilience against climate risks. It focuses on physical and transition climate risk assessment and quantification, and innovative forms of risk management and financing. Christopher is also responsible for strategy and solution development for WTW’s Climate Practice globally.  Christopher joined WTW in 2018. He holds a PhD in Insurance Regulation and Policy, and an MSc in Environmental Policy from Imperial College London, and a BA in Geography from University College London. He also holds a Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management.

Kelvin Chow

Member, ISCA CGRM Committee, Chairman of AC and Board Chairman, Starhill Global REIT and EC World REIT

Kelvin is currently the Independent Director of Starhill Global REIT, EC World REIT and Addvalue Technologies Ltd listed on Singapore Exchange. (“SGX’). Kelvin was most recently the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT listed on SGX. He was named the Executive of the Year (Commercial Real Estate Trust) at the SBR Management Excellence Awards 2023 as well as Best CEO (Gold) and Best CEO (Platinum) at the Asia Pacific Best of the Breeds REITs Award in 2023 and 2024 respectively. The REIT also bagged multiple accolades for its performance in various business operations and is the 1st REIT that achieved Net Carbon Zero in Singapore.  Kelvin's areas of expertise span REITs, private funds and capital markets and has more than 30 years of experience working on direct real estate investments and fund management. Before joining Lendlease, he was the Chief Financial Officer of various REITs including Keppel REIT and Soilbuild REIT. Under his guidance, both REITs received recognition at the Singapore Corporate Awards in 2016 (Best Annual Report (Gold) and 2014 (Best Investor Relations (Merit) and Best Annual Report (Bronze)) respectively.  Kelvin is a member of the Corporate Governance and Risk Management Committee of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants ("ISCA"). He was previously a member of the executive committee of the REIT Association of Singapore ("REITAS") and co-chairperson of REITAS' sustainability taskforce, where he provided guidance to the association in helping its members to accelerate their sustainability journey.

Tan Boon Gin

Chief Executive Officer, Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo)

Mr Tan Boon Gin joined Singapore Exchange (SGX Group) as Chief Regulatory Officer on 15 June 2015. He now heads Singapore Exchange Regulation, an independent regulatory subsidiary of SGX, which undertakes all front-line regulatory functions to promote a fair, orderly and transparent market.Before joining SGX, Mr Tan was the Director of the Commercial Affairs Department of the Singapore Police Force. Prior to this, Mr Tan held several appointments at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) including Director of the Enforcement Division, Director of the Corporate Finance Division and Executive Director of the Investment Intermediaries Department. Mr Tan was seconded to MAS after serving as a District Judge at Singapore’s Subordinate Courts.Mr Tan’s earlier roles include serving as a Justices’ Law Clerk at Singapore’s Supreme Court and a Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney General’s Chamber, where he specialised in corruption and white collar crime, before leaving to practise at Messrs Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. He serves as Chairman of SATA CommHealth and the Energy Market Company.Mr Tan is an advocate and solicitor and holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and Harvard Law School. Mr Tan was awarded the Public Administration (Silver) Medal in 2010.
