Synopsis:

This introductory course on Microsoft's Power Automate Desktop begins with an overview of the Power Automate Desktop software, elucidating its role in automating repetitive tasks through Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Participants learn about the difference between Power Automate Desktop and Power Automate Web, and then try some hands-on activities, guiding learners through the creation of their first flow and learning how to use Power Automate Desktop to interact with desktop software applications. Participants gain an understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and the importance of computational thinking in optimizing automation workflows. The module finishes with a focus on evaluating the effectiveness of RPA solutions, equipping participants with the knowledge needed to assess implementing Power Automate Desktop in diverse business scenarios.

• Automate Your Accounting: Power Up with Power Automate Desktop (Part THREE) will deepen your abilities of automation by learning how Power Automate Desktop can interact with Microsoft Excel and web browsers.
