Julie Lee is an accomplished HR leader and strategic advisor with over 30 years of international experience across manufacturing, Big Four, technology, and start-up sectors. She currently serves as Group HR Director at Durapower Group, a Singapore-headquartered electric-vehicle battery manufacturer with operations in China, Thailand, and Europe. In this role, she is shaping a sustainable future through human capital leadership and leading people strategy across the region, aligning it with business priorities to drive transformation and growth.

Prior to this, Julie founded Excellia, a fractional CHRO and HR advisory practice partnering with scaling start-ups and SMEs to strengthen people strategies and organizational foundations. She has advised founders, investors, and boards on leadership succession, culture transformation, and workforce readiness in the era of digital disruption.

A committee member of Remarkable Women Asia, Julie actively champions leadership, mentorship, and authentic growth among women professionals across the region. She is also an active member of the Portfolio Careers Asia community, advocating for fractional leadership as a future workforce strategy—enabling businesses to build agility, access C-suite expertise, and accelerate growth without the traditional constraints of full-time hiring.
