Course Description

Synopsis:

This course is a foundational level course intended for professionals looking to become conversationally fluent in discussing artificial intelligence and machine learning. It is intended to give participants an introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to understand how it will impact (and has already impacted!) the profession. Topics covered include natural language processing, computer vision, supervised vs unsupervised learning, neural networks, and some of the challenges that will arise in the coming years.

Michael Gonsalves

Michael Gonsalves came to Singapore to join Tinkercademy in 2015 and has over 1000 hours of classroom time teaching programming and electronics to students aged 5 to 50 (maybe older, we didn't ask). He has developed curriculum for a variety of languages and tools, including blockchain, machine learning, robotics process automation, python, data science, cybersecurity, swift, unity, micro:bit, raspberry pi, and scratch. In addition to his teaching experience, Mike has data science experience as an actuarial analyst, computer science experience as a web consultant.
